The Women in Defense-Michigan Chapter will host a panel discussion on “Combatting Human Trafficking: A Dialogue for Business and Community” from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at Altair Engineering Headquarters, 1820 E. Big Beaver Road in Troy.
Women in Defense-Michigan Chapter President Vicky Rad said, “Human trafficking is happening in Oakland County and touches every zip code in Michigan.”
Michigan ranks as the second state in the country with the most human trafficking.
